Ma + D wins the Manuel Laborde award

For its agroforestry waste engineering project.

The initiative Ma+D presented by Iván Rivilla, Jalel Labidi, Rodrigo Llano-Ponte y Luis Serrano Has been awarded the Manuel Laborde Werlinden First Prize To the best business initiative based on innovative technology. The project presented by this research group brings to the market the knowledge developed about the waste recovery sector based on a triple sustainability principle: Economic, social and environmental. Also during this 13th edition, the BBC initiative was awarded the 2nd Prize for its ‘Cloud Service’ brain imaging project to provide specific responses in the field of Neuroscience.

These innovative technology-based proposals will be eligible for aid managed by Bic Gipuzkoa Berrilan Articulated by the Department for Innovation Rural Development and Tourism of the Diputación Foral de Gipuzkoa and by Spri, dependent Vasco Government-Eusko Jaurlaritza.
